Who Am I?
Karen Marshall Falland
My role, as an ‘Independent civil Celebrant’ is to walk alongside you (or scoop you up and put you under my nurturing wing if that’s what you need) helping you find and formulate the right personal words to say. Together we will express EXACTLY what YOU want to say at your celebration, regardless of what chapter of your life you are in.
I am firstly a ‘woman’ which has given me the precious gift of being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and free spirit. I am passionate about life and endeavour to live it to the full, supporting people through key milestones in their lives.
I have dedicated the last 35 years to Nursing within the NHS, this has been a very privileged position, working and supporting the most amazing people. I have transferred this passion for people to my work as a celebrant.

Weddings

Now the fun begins, who are you going to invite? Are you having best men, women? If so who? Is the venue going to be a classic manor house or a funky outdoor ‘rustic’ event with a marquee and straw bales? Will you be Mr and Mrs, Mrs and Mrs or Mr and Mr? What’s the budget? OMG the list feels endless!

Funerals

If you have visited this page due to the loss of a loved one, then may I extend my heartfelt condolences at this most painful of times.
If this is the first or fifth time you have had to arrange a funeral it is never easy, however there are fantastic teams of people to support you through this time. Your funeral director will support and carry you through the process with extreme kindness and sensitivity.

The most precious gift we can be given is a child, either our own, adopted or due to two families coming together to form one.
How do we mark this special occasion?
It can be by a “baby or child” naming ceremony.
Renewal of Vows

There are many ‘bumps in the road’ throughout life and sometimes we lose our way. One way couples are deciding to put them back on track is to re-new their wedding vows!! For whatever reason!
It could be a replica of the original service with the same vows or a completely different service with a new set of vows. KMF celebrations can help you to write and officiate your service to re-new your vows.
